‘Shocked’ KDB to part ways with Man City
Manchester City ‘ace’ Kevin De Bruyne could be heading to the United States to play out the final years of his career.
“De Bruyne’s representatives have held talks with American MLS newcomer San Diego FC,” the UK’s The Athletic reported on May 22 (ET). If he plays in the MLS in the future, he is considering a life in California, USA.”
De Bruyne is a Belgian attacking midfielder. His biggest strength is his kick. His kicks are not only accurate but also very powerful. He can use both feet and his vision and judgment allows him to play penetrating passes to the attackers. As an attacking midfielder, he has the ability to score goals.
Der Bryner made his first-team debut for KRC Heerenck after joining the Belgian Pro League’s KAA Gent youth team from KRC Heerenck. In 2012, he broke into the English Premier League in a Chelsea FC jersey. However, after only a season on loan at Chelsea, De Bruyne moved to VfL Wolfsburg in the German Bundesliga.
In 2014-15, De Bruyne had a perfect resurgence at Wolfsburg, winning the Bundesliga’s Assistants’ Player of the Year and Player of the Year, before moving to City for the 2015-16 season. Since joining City, he has won six Premier League titles, England’s first ever Domestic Treble and the club’s first ever UEFA Champions League title and treble.
He holds the Premier League’s all-time record for most assists, most assists in a single season, and second all-time for career assists. He has also led the team in assists at the World Cup, UEFA Nations League, UEFA Champions League, English Premier League, Bundesliga, FA Cup, and EFL Cup, and has been named to four FIFA FIFPro World XIs, two PFA Player of the Year, and two Premier League Player of the Year.
Der Bryner’s form this season has been nothing short of insane. The Saudi Arabian Professional League was the first destination for The Bryner. However, the player turned down a huge offer from the league and decided that he would rather play in the United States. The Bryner’s time in Europe is coming to an end.
