SSG’s Choi sets new KBO League record for most runs scored…”surpassing Lee Seung-yeop”

SSG Landers’ Choi Jung (36) surpassed Lee Seung-yeop to set a new KBO record for most runs scored in a game.

Choi doubled in the third inning against the visiting 안전카지노사이트 Hanwha Eagles at Hanwha Life Eagles Park in Daejeon on June 6 and came home on the next batter’s double by Guillermo Heredia.

The day before, Choi drove in a run for Hanwha, tying the franchise record for most runs scored. In one day, Choi surpassed the 1,355 runs scored by Doosan Bears manager Lee Seung-yeop during his career.

Choi is the epitome of consistency. Since his professional debut in 2005, Choi hasn’t missed a year with the first team, making KBO history in his 19th year.

Choi has never led the league in scoring. After scoring six runs in his rookie year, Choi was named to the top 10 seasonal scorers eight times between 2008 and last year.

However, Choi’s consistency allowed him to overtake Lee Seung-yup’s record.
