‘Yang In-young’s double-double’ Hana Won-Q snaps 2-game losing streak with win over Shinhan Bank…closes to within one game of 3rd-place Samsung Life

Bucheon Hana OneQ snapped a two-game losing streak with a win over the Incheon Shinhan Bank Esbuds. 

The Hana OneQ defeated the Incheon Shinhan Bank Escape 72-61 in the 2023-2024 Women’s Professional Basketball Regular Season at Bucheon Indoor Gymnasium on Nov. 21. 

With the win, Hana OneQ snapped a two-game losing streak and earned its sixth victory, extending its lead over fifth-place 스포츠토토 Busan BNK Thumb to two games. They also closed to within one game of third-place Yongin Samsung Life Bloomers. 

Shinhan Bank, on the other hand, remained in last place with its 13th loss. The team is bogged down in a six-game losing streak and has a winning percentage of just 0.071 this season. 

Hana OneQ was led by Yang In-young with 25 points, 11 rebounds and two assists, while Jeong Ye-rim, Kim Jong-un and Shin Ji-hyun followed with 14, 12 and 10 points, respectively.

Shinhan Bank was led by Kim Sonia and Goo Seul with 16 points and 10 rebounds, respectively, but Kim Ji-young and Lee Kyung-eun were held to seven and five points. 

In the first quarter, Hana WonQ’s Yang In-young started to fly. She scored 12 points on her own, accounting for more than half of her team’s points, and Hana OneQ ended the first quarter with a 21-15 lead. 

After Yang In-young was held to five points in the second quarter, Jung Yerim and Kim Anna stepped up to the plate. Jeong finished with five points, while Kim finished with four points. Hana OneQ ended the first quarter with a 40-31 lead. 

In the third quarter, Kim and Yang In-young combined for 16 points. Shin Ji-hyun added five points. Shinhan Bank, on the other hand, was paced by Goo Seul and Kim Sonia with five and four points, respectively, but was held scoreless by Lee Kyung-eun.

Hana OneQ managed to pull away thanks to Kim Sonia’s six points, but Jung Yerim’s six points in the fourth quarter drove a wedge into the game. In the end, Hana WonQ completed the victory, 72-61, to escape the losing streak.
