Promotion ‘hopes’ still alive…Cheonan and Bucheon to battle for semi-PO tickets

There’s still hope for promotion.

Cheonan City will host Bucheon FC in the 37th round of the Hana Bank K League 2 2024 at 7:30 p.m. on Sept. 29 at Cheonan Stadium. Currently, Cheonan is in ninth place in the league with 42 points, while Bucheon is in eighth place with 47 points.

Both teams have slim hopes of promotion. With 42 points, Cheonan is currently eight points behind fifth-place Busan IPark. If they win all three of their remaining matches to reach 51 points and beat only one of their real competition – Jeonnam Dragons, Busan, or Suwon Samsung – 카지노사이트 they will secure fifth place and qualify for the semi-finals (but not the playoffs).

That’s easy compared to Chunan, but Bucheon will also have to beat the odds. Currently in eighth place with 47 points, Bucheon is only three points away from fourth through seventh place. However, with an 11-point goal difference against Jeonnam, securing at least four points is a priority.

This is not an easy game to predict as the teams are tied in the head-to-head record this season. Cheonan won 3-1 away from Bucheon last time out and lost 1-2 when they hosted Bucheon at home.

Based on recent form alone, Cheonan is the underdog. Cheonan has shown a lot of late-game grit, winning three of their last five matches. In the 36th round against Jeonnam, they defied all expectations with a 2-0 victory that put a chili pepper in Jeonnam’s promotion race.

Bucheon, on the other hand, is not in the best of form. Bucheon are on a bad run of form, with just one win in their last five matches. Both teams are in desperate need of a win to keep their promotion hopes alive for a semi-playoff spot.
