Bae Hye-yoon’s 24 points help Samsung Life Women’s Basketball beat Shinhan Bank to snap 2-game losing streak

Women’s professional basketball team Samsung Life of Yongin snapped a six-game losing streak to start the season.

Samsung Life defeated Shinhan Bank 78-59 in a home game of the Woori Bank Woori WON 2023-2024 Women’s Professional Basketball Regular Season at Yongin Gymnasium on Saturday.

Samsung Life snapped a two-game losing streak and remained in third place with a 4-3 record.

Shinhan Bank fell to a six-game losing streak, having not won a single game since the start of the season.

Shinhan Bank took a 15-11 lead in the first quarter thanks to Kim Sonia, who hit one three-pointer and grabbed seven rebounds.

Samsung Life began to fight back in the second quarter.

Six consecutive points from Bae Hye-yoon, back-to-back three-pointers from Shin Isul and Yoon Ye-bin, and a three-pointer from Lee Ju-yeon sparked a run that ended the half with the score tied at 32-31.

Samsung Life began to solidify its lead in the third quarter.

Taking advantage of Shinhan Bank’s turnovers, Kang Yoo-rim and Bae Hye-yoon went on an onslaught, and even though Kang Yoo-rim was called for five fouls midway through the third quarter, Bae Hye-yoon’s back-to-back two-pointers and Kim Dan-bi’s three-pointer went through the rim to extend the lead to 13 points.

In the fourth quarter, Samsung Life used its sixth man to extend the lead to 21 points with just over four minutes left in the game.

Samsung Life was led by Bae Hye-yoon with 24 points and six assists, while Lee Hae-ran added 12 points and nine rebounds.

Shinhan Bank’s Kim Sonia recorded a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds, but her efforts were overshadowed by her team’s sixth straight loss. 토토사이트
